The way to understand a writer is through his work. Rhythms, a new poetry compilation by Jeffrey Gray, compiles 16 years of writings, revealing the throes of passion and misery of life’s harsher moments. It gives a personal account of exploring life and love from Gray’s universe, opening heart, mind and soul through his pen.

Having been started by the author at the age of 16 and written with spurts of inspiration, the book confides knowledge and ramblings of a man’s life. Encouraged to publish by those whose hearts his writings have touched, he presents it as a gift to the world.

Gray has recorded his poetry since 1990. Born in Long Island, New York and raised in Deltona Florida, he has worked in software engineering for 14 years. He now lives in Florida with his faithful companions, Chloe and Hazel, and dreams of sailing the world, and penning a fantasy fiction novel or two.

Rhythms is available in hardcover (ISBN 1-58939-887-4) from Virtualbookworm.com, Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com. The book can also be ordered from most bookstores around the United States and the United Kingdom.
