What more could one want than to be an infamous freelance photojournalist, semi-retired adventurer and ex-spy? In the The Maracaja, a brand new novel by Charles E. Seddon, Michael, the main character and teller of the story, leads a joint DEA CIA operation deep into the perilous jungles of the Amazon.

The author filled The Maracaja with adventure, action, romance and mystery. The story follows Michael and crew as they make they way through the rain forests of Brazil dodging venomous snakes, hungry crocodiles, bounty hunters, murderous soldiers and an assortment of very large insects.

Charles E. Seddon, an adventurer of sorts himself, has worked at a rescue mission in Orlando, Florida; the largest law firm west of the Mississippi; and the opening of the Domed Stadium in Houston, Texas. Mr. Seddon has climbed mountains, crossed deserts and did the Haight-Ashbury in the Sixties. He has a B.A. in English, pre-med and conducted post graduate work in high energy physics.

The Maracaja is available in softcover (ISBN 1-58939-851-3) from Virtualbookworm.com, Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com. The book can also be ordered from most bookstores around the United States and the United Kingdom. More information can be found at Mr. Seddon official website, www.charlesseddon.com.
