Bures points out that the U.S. government often chooses war and military presence to keep the oil supply flowing, without which the price of oil may skyrocket and send the U.S into economic depression. Thus, we are an “Oil Hostage” and place a premium on the availability of black gold. Bures explains how there are solutions to our dependence on the oil-rich countries, and that self-sufficiency could be attained within a generation. With a few simple steps taken by the U.S government, he claims, global warming would be a thing of the past and the bloody oil wars could end, allowing America to move into an energy abundant future. Bures has been a civil engineer and businessman for the last 30 years. A graduate of Cleveland State University, his interests include studying energy subjects. He currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio. America: The Oil Hostage is available in softcover (ISBN 1-58939-945-5) and hardcover (1-58989-946-3) from Virtualbookworm.com, Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com. The book can also be ordered from most bookstores around the United States and the United Kingdom. More information can be found at the author’s website, paulbures.com. |
