In The Chickenpox Vaccine: A New Epidemic of Disease and Corruption, a new book by Mark Orrin and based on the research of Gary S. Goldman, Ph.D., the consequences of injecting children with the varicella vaccine have been silenced by the government to the financial gain of pharmaceutical companies and public health officials. As a result of this greed, a pre-warned herpes zoster (“shingles”) epidemic has begun, since the immunized aren’t receiving the necessary immunologic boosting through exposure to the chickenpox.
The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which funded Goldman's population-based research in the years immediately following vaccine licensure, published his positive findings showing a dramatic decrease in chickenpox cases, yet disregarded the negative effects of the vaccine. With the CDC’s determination to only publish the lucrative “half of the story,” Goldman resigned and was threatened to “cease and desist” publication of his complete findings. Morally and ethically obligated, he endorses this book to expose, warn and encourage steps to remedy what the public and their children have been kept in the dark about.
Vaccines are all too often declared safe without time and research for certainty. Thimerosal, an organic mercury compound used as a preservative in childhood vaccines, is suspected in the 870% increase in autism over the past 10 years. Neurological disorders declined as Thimerosal was phased out, but the approval of the influenza vaccine by the CDC for pregnant mothers and infants 6 months and older has restored 60% of the mercury that led to an increase in autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Goldman holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Pacific Western University in Los Angeles and graduated with honors from California State University, Fullerton with a double major in Engineering and Computer Science. He developed the first microcomputer-based computer-aided drafting (CAD) system, and holds the patent for the “Power Wheel” as featured on the front cover of the Fall, 1980 issue of Popular Science and Mechanics. He served for 8 years, from 1995 until his resignation in 2002, as Research Analyst for the Varicella Active Surveillance Project in Antelope Valley in cooperation with the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention.
