What happens when the benefits of technology become deadly? In Logging Off, a new book by Caitlin McKenna, the year is 2095 and the world is dominated by computers. People live their lives effortlessly with genetically embedded barcodes linked to Central, the world government.

But with the increased use of artificial intelligence, people's free will is being eliminated without them realizing it. As computers begin to teach themselves how to be psychic, citizens start to mysteriously disappear. It becomes a race against time as three chosen people join forces to destroy Central before its technology destroys all of mankind.

McKenna is a voice-over actress, voice-casting director and has worked on over 200 films and television shows. She is a produced screenwriter with “Backlash,” a newly released action-thriller.

Logging Off is available in softcover (ISBN 1-58939-918-8) and hardcover (ISBN 1-58939-919-6) from Virtualbookworm.com, Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com. The book can also be ordered from most bookstores around the United States and the United Kingdom. More information can be found at the official website, www.caitlinmckenna.net.
